5th class have been really busy the last few weeks learning all about Italy in SESE
For history, we explored the ancient city of Pompeii and its history - how it was preserved under layers of ash for years after a volcano (Mt Vesuvius) erupted 1000's of years ago!
We put our creative thinking caps on & managed to re-create what the eruption would have looked like
In art, we made our own Mt Vesuvius in groups using paper mache & painting them
In science, we put our volcanoes to the test, they worked! There were eruptions all around the classroom!#
