Our class has been super busy so far in 2022!!
We have had lots of fun inside and outside the classroom :)
We have been playing some fun maths games and carrying out some Valentine's science experiments using love heart sweets! We made some Kadinsky inspired trees in our art classes.
At the end of January we completed our Jumping into January challenge for our active school's flag. We did lots of jumping and skipping that day!!
We have been on a sound walk around the school yard and designed our own soundscapes using the different sounds we heard
We even got to go on a trip to the park with our green school's officer Laura
We were looking for lots of different things in the park and listening for different sounds too!
March 3rd was World Book Day! We spent lots of time chatting about our favourite books and book characters. Then we designed and made masks of our favourite book characters. We also got to go to the school hall with 3rd class for shared reading. This was such a lovely experience meeting another class! :))
St. Pat's brought their FAI cup into our school on March 4th, there was such excitement! It was great to see Niall and see the cup for ourselves and support the team on their big win!
