In October we were lucky enough to get samples of seaweed given to us by a member of the school community. We investigated the different species, by looking at each of their different characteristics and the children attempted to identify the species that they were given. We also looked at how seaweed fits into the underwater ecosystem, and how important it is to a healthy and diverse ocean.
