1st class have had a great time in school for the last number of weeks!
Our class elf Tinsel arrived! She spent her first week in her elf hotel to quarantine (just to be extra safe!)
Then she created all sorts of mischief in the classroom! There were paper snowball fights, messing with our Class DoJo monsters and even toilet roll thrown all over the classroom! She has been keeping a very close eye on our class and everyone has been trying their very best to show good behaviour & kindness to others!
Anne O'Shea has been coming in on Thursdays for music and has been doing lots of musical games and activities. We listened to the Nutcracker song, played and used some instruments like the chime bars and we played some Christmas songs using plastic cups as an instrument!
On Friday, December 17th we had our Christmas fun day. There was popcorn & hot chocolate for everyone, we watched some videos and we had a Christmas dance party outside with our new school speaker. We had tons of fun!
For our Christmas performance this year, we made a short video of everyone bucket drumming to Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. We designed our buckets ourselves and practiced our song for a WHOLE week! Have a listen below!
